People traveling from Delhi to Ayodhya and Bihar are in for a significant treat as Prime Minister Modi is set to unveil the first Amrit Bharat Express train on December 30. This train will run from Delhi to Darbhanga, passing through Ayodhya.
New Delhi: Before the onset of the new year, Bihar and Karnataka are about to receive a substantial gift. Prime Minister Modi is scheduled to unveil two Amrit Bharat Express trains, both bearing the green flag, simultaneously on December 30. The first Amrit Bharat Express train will travel from Ayodhya to Darbhanga via Delhi. Meanwhile, the second train will run from Malda to Bengaluru. It’s worth noting that Bihar recently received the gift of Vande Bharat Express. With the initiation of Amrit Bharat Express, people in Bihar, Ayodhya, and surrounding districts will find added convenience in traveling to Delhi.
The launch of Amrit Bharat Express is the first of its kind in the country, starting its operation from Bihar. This train will offer several amenities similar to Vande Bharat Express. While some expressed joy over Vande Bharat, others found its ticket prices to be considerably high, making travel difficult. Considering these factors, the introduction of Amrit Bharat Express aims to provide an alternative travel option.
Features similar to Vande Bharat: All coaches in these trains will have sleeper and general compartments. Despite this, the entire train will be equipped with amenities akin to Vande Bharat. Additionally, there will be CCTV cameras in the coaches, modern toilets, and an announcement system modeled after the metro. The Amrit Bharat Express train, running from Delhi to Darbhanga via Ayodhya, will consist of a total of 22 coaches. The train is expected to maintain a speed of 130 kilometers per hour. Prime Minister Modi will unveil both trains with the green flag in Ayodhya. Notably, this train is entirely indigenous, emphasizing self-reliance.
