Bihar Police: Once again, the inhumane face of Patna Police has come to light. This time, an innocent child fought for his life inside an ambulance because it couldn’t pass through due to the Chief Minister’s convoy passing by.
Patna: Bihar Police: The inhumane face of Patna Police has surfaced once again. This time, an innocent child fought for his life inside an ambulance and couldn’t reach the hospital in time because the Chief Minister’s convoy was passing by. The ambulance with the innocent child was stuck for nearly an hour.
It should be noted that Patna Police halted the Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s convoy to let it pass, causing the ambulance with the struggling child to be stranded. The incident took place near Fatuha police station, situated in the vicinity of the state capital, Patna. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar was returning to Patna after inaugurating an ethanol factory in Nalanda today.
Patna Police stopped all vehicles to allow the Chief Minister’s convoy to pass, and this included stopping the ambulance for nearly an hour. The ambulance driver mentioned that they were transporting an emergency patient from a private hospital in Fatuha to a hospital in Patna. However, the police did not heed their plea and halted the ambulance along with all other vehicles.
The condition of the child inside the ambulance, the distress on the child’s mother’s face, and her tears did not move the Patna Police. They seemed indifferent to the situation, prioritizing the Chief Minister’s convoy over the health and life of an innocent child.
It’s worth mentioning that a similar incident occurred a month ago on Ganga Path in Patna, where an ambulance was stopped to allow the Chief Minister’s convoy to pass. However, after the incident, the Traffic SP had emphasized that no one has the right to stop an ambulance in such cases.
