Seema Haider, who clandestinely entered India to marry her PUBG partner Sachin Meena, could potentially make her debut on the silver screen. She is set to portray a RAW agent in the film “A Tailor Murder Story.” Seema, a Pakistani national who was initially suspected of espionage, has indicated her willingness to take on the role after receiving clearance from the Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS).
Seema Haider’s and Sachin Meena’s cross-border love story has garnered widespread attention. Her entry into India through Nepal for Sachin, a resident of Greater Noida, made headlines since May.
A recent report by News18 suggests that Seema underwent an audition for the movie conducted by Jani Firefox Production House, a team based in Greater Noida. She reportedly auditioned with directors Bharat Singh and Jayant Sinha. The film, titled “A Tailor Murder Story,” has Seema, once suspected to be an ISI spy, slated to play a role as a RAW official.
However, Seema, a Pakistani national, has stipulated that she will accept the role only after receiving a clean chit from the Uttar Pradesh Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS).
In a gesture of appreciation for her decision to convert to Hinduism, Amit Jani of Jani Firefox Production House had already presented Seema with a saffron shawl. He also received blessings from her in the Indian tradition of touching feet. The commencement of shooting for the movie is pending the ATS report.
Amit Jani shared, “We approached Seema after knowing that she is looking for work and held a long talk before proceeding to go with her. I visited her residence last evening and formally inducted her into the project. We will start filming Seema’s portions in the month of September which will be extensively shot in Uttar Pradesh. I can’t reveal much for now but her role is very intensive and dark.”
Social media users have circulated a video featuring Amit Jani, a Mumbai-based production company owner, where it is evident that he took the couple’s financial situation into consideration. Notably, Jani recently released a film trailer and is known for his candid statements.
The film’s premise revolves around a murder. Mohammad Riyaz Attari and Ghouse Mohammed, pretending to be customers, brutally killed Kanhaiya Lal, a tailor, in broad daylight. They later confessed to the killing in a video, attributing it to a social media post supporting Nupur Sharma, who had sparked controversy with her remarks concerning the Prophet Muhammad.
Seema Haider’s tale began during the COVID-19 pandemic when she fell in love with Sachin Meena, an Indian resident, and decided to leave Pakistan and enter India illegally to be with him. Despite being married to Ghulam Haider and having four children, she made this daring choice. In March, she met Sachin in Nepal and, following her apparent conversion to Hinduism, they married according to Hindu customs. On May 13, they entered India from Nepal along with her children.
Seema’s entry led to her detention, along with Sachin and his father, on July 4 due to their illegal entry. Although they were released on bail shortly after, they underwent questioning by investigative agencies. Ghulam, her estranged husband residing in Saudi Arabia, expressed a desire for reconciliation, but Seema has expressed her intent to remain with Sachin and avoid returning to Pakistan.
