In a recent revelation, actor Kareena Kapoor shared that the nannies caring for her two children, Taimur Ali Khan and Jehangir Ali Khan, now dine together with the family. This change in practice came about when her elder son inquired why the nannies sat at a separate table to have their meals. Speaking with The Indian Express, Kareena Kapoor explained that, prompted by Taimur’s question, she and her husband, Saif Ali Khan, made sure that the nannies joined them at the same table during meal times. She further stated that when her sons are eating, and the nannies are hungry, they all sit down together to enjoy their meals.
Kareena emphasized that this arrangement is the norm in their household because the nannies play a crucial role in looking after her children while she is working. She underscored the importance of respecting and acknowledging their contributions, as they are essentially part of the family.
Kareena Kapoor’s family life revolves around her marriage to Saif Ali Khan, which took place in Mumbai in October 2012, following years of courtship. The couple welcomed their first child, Taimur Ali Khan, into the world in 2016 and their second child, Jehangir Ali Khan (Jeh), in 2021. They currently reside in Mumbai.
In terms of her upcoming projects, Kareena is gearing up for her debut in the world of OTT with “Jaane Jaan,” a Hindi language adaptation of the popular Japanese novel “Devotion of Suspect X,” directed by Sujoy Ghosh. The film is scheduled for release on September 21 and also stars Vijay Varma and Jaideep Ahlawat. Additionally, she has “The Buckingham Murders,” directed by Hansal Mehta, which is set to premiere at the BFI London Film Festival in October 2023.
Kareena is also part of “The Crew,” a film featuring Tabu, Kriti Sanon, and Diljit Dosanjh in lead roles. It’s a comedy set against the backdrop of the aviation industry’s challenges, where three women’s destinies lead them into unexpected situations and a web of lies. Kapil Sharma will make a special cameo appearance in the movie. “The Crew” is slated for release on March 22, 2024.
