Amitabh Bachchan shared his sentiments about arriving “late” for the Ambanis’ event in Jamnagar. Alongside his wife Jaya, daughter Shweta Bachchan, grandson Agastya Nanda, son Abhishek Bachchan, daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, and granddaughter Aaradhya, he joined the pre-wedding celebrations of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant on the third day in Gujarat, departing on the same day.

The Bachchan family made the most of their time at the festivities, attending the last day of the three-day-long event in Jamnagar before returning to Mumbai. Various videos surfaced on social media capturing their presence at the celebration and their departure from Kalinga airport. Aaradhya was seen holding her grandfather Amitabh’s hand. While their absence during the first two days sparked speculation, their united appearance on the third day, particularly Aishwarya’s camaraderie with other family members, dispelled rumors surrounding Abhishek and her alleged divorce.

Before their departure, the family fully immersed themselves in the festivities, as seen in online videos where Aishwarya, Aaradhya, and Abhishek danced to the beat of the dhol tasha. At the event, Amitabh wore an off-white kurta-pyjama with a colorful shawl, while Jaya donned a beige saree with a shawl. Abhishek and Aishwarya coordinated in cream traditional attire, Shweta opted for a golden suit, Aaradhya wore a white dress, Navya appeared in a colorful lehenga, and Agastya chose a cream sherwani.

Following the pre-wedding bash in Jamnagar, Amitabh shared a post on his blog expressing his tardiness and later tweeted, “Late yes, but never the pretense.” In his blog, he recounted his experience at the event and visiting Vantara, Anant’s animal rehabilitation center, describing it as a “never-before-seen experience.” He praised the setup for maltreated animals and the divine atmosphere created by the hosts during the wedding. Consequently, the customary Sunday darshan outside his residence did not occur as he was in Jamnagar.
