Procedure:

  1. Heat a pan on the stove. Once hot, add oil.
  2. Add finely chopped ginger, garlic, and green chilies to the pan. Sauté until they turn golden.
  3. Add diced onions to the pan and sauté until they become golden brown.
  4. Add finely chopped carrots, bell pepper, and sweet corn to the pan. Sauté on low flame until they become tender.
  5. Mix water into the pan. After adding water, season the mixture with salt and black pepper powder to taste.
  6. In a separate bowl, mix 2 large tablespoons of ragi flour with water to form a paste to avoid lumps.
  7. Add the ragi paste to the pan and continuously stir for 5-10 minutes on low flame until the soup reaches the desired consistency.
  8. Transfer the soup to a serving bowl and garnish it with fresh coriander and spring onions. For added flavor, you can squeeze a lemon on top.
  9. Your healthy ragi soup is ready to be enjoyed in minutes.
