This event will mark Prime Minister Modi’s inaugural address to Parliament during the ongoing Monsoon Session.

The deliberations regarding the no-confidence motion commenced on Tuesday, 8 August, with notable Members of Parliament participating in the discourse. Among these speakers, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi took the stage on Wednesday, 9 August.

In his address, Gandhi criticized the Central government, asserting that it had inflicted harm upon India’s interests in Manipur. Meanwhile, Shah directed his criticism towards the Opposition, contending that politicizing the turmoil in the northeastern state was a more regrettable action than the actual events that transpired there over the past few months.
