The wedding festivities of Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha are in full swing, with the couple set to tie the knot in the upcoming weekend.
The wedding celebrations began with Parineeti’s Mumbai residence being illuminated with lights, confirming the commencement of the festivities. Parineeti arrived in Delhi on Sunday, and preparations for the celebrations at Raghav’s Delhi residence were also visible on Monday.
A paparazzo shared a glimpse of Parineeti’s decorated high-rise apartment on Instagram, captioning it, “Light Pari ke Ghar pe.” Congratulations poured in from well-wishers in the comments section ahead of the wedding.
Here’s what to expect from the wedding plan: After some initial rituals at Raghav’s Delhi home, the couple will depart for Udaipur for the main wedding events scheduled for September 23 and 24. Parineeti and Raghav are all set to exchange vows on September 24 at The Leela Palace in Udaipur.
According to a recent report by ETimes, the pre-wedding festivities will also include a cricket match, pitting the Chopras and their friends against the Chadhas and their close associates on the cricket field. Additionally, the pre-wedding function in Udaipur will feature a welcome lunch and a 90s-themed party.
Parineeti’s cousin, actor Priyanka Chopra, is expected to be a part of the wedding festivities. She had briefly visited Delhi in May to attend their engagement.
Regarding the wedding theme, a source shared with Hindustan Times, “The theme and color scheme for the wedding is pastel, and everything from the decor to the couple’s attire will reflect this choice. Parineeti and Raghav have chosen this theme because it aligns with their personalities, and they have encouraged the guests to try and adhere to the theme.”
The source also mentioned that the bride and groom will be wearing color-coordinated outfits. “Raghav has had several outfits made for himself for each function and will be doing the final fitting in a day or two to confirm his attire. The attire for both the bride and groom is simple and subtle, reflecting their personalities with elements of their love story incorporated,” added the source.
