Ranbir Kapoor accompanied Alia Bhatt to the National Film Awards at Vigyan Bhawan in Delhi, where she was honored with the Best Actor award.

During the awards ceremony in Delhi, Ranbir Kapoor stood by Alia Bhatt’s side as she received her very first National Film Award for Best Actor. The couple occupied seats in the second row, with veteran actor Waheeda Rehman seated in the front row. At one point during the event, as paparazzi swarmed around Waheeda to capture her image, they even started to push the table in front of her. In a show of support for Waheeda, who was being presented with the Dadasaheb Phalke Award, Ranbir rose from his seat and asked the photographers to be cautious.

A video from the National Film Awards ceremony has circulated online, and fans have been quick to applaud Ranbir for his considerate gesture in the comments section. In the video, a photographer can also be heard saying, “Why are you pushing? The table is moving forward, what are you doing?”

Fans commended Ranbir’s actions, with one commenting, “That’s called upbringing.” Another remarked, “A good gesture by RK, the elderly lady is sitting there.” Comparisons to his late father, actor Rishi Kapoor, were also made, with a fan stating, “He is doing what his father used to do.” Several fans described him as “cute” and a “gentleman.”

On a lighter note, many fans questioned why Ranbir wore sunglasses indoors at Vigyan Bhawan, with comments like, “Why is he wearing sunglasses?” and “Even indoors, black shades!”

Ranbir attended the National Film Awards ceremony with Alia and was seen taking photographs of her as she received the Best Actor award from President Droupadi Murmu. This prestigious award recognized Alia’s exceptional performance in “Gangubai Kathiawadi,” which achieved success in multiple categories. Unfortunately, director Sanjay Leela Bhansali could not be present at the ceremony.

The highlight of Alia’s appearance was her choice to wear her wedding saree on this special day. She looked stunning in a sheer beige saree, her hair fashioned in an elegant bun adorned with flowers, while Ranbir looked dashing in a black bandhgala suit.
