Bollywood star Parineeti Chopra and Aam Aadmi Party leader Raghav Chadha, who exchanged engagement rings back in May at Delhi’s Kapurthala House, have been eagerly anticipating their upcoming wedding, which is now just around the corner. The much-anticipated wedding ceremony is scheduled for this weekend.
Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha recently arrived in Udaipur for their wedding festivities, departing from Delhi. The Udaipur airport was adorned to welcome them, featuring a vibrant red carpet that extended a warm reception to the bride’s family, groom’s party, and guests alike.
Accompanied by their security personnel, the couple was seen at the airport, both wearing radiant smiles. Their arrival was greeted with the sounds of dhols, perfectly encapsulating the celebratory wedding atmosphere.
The wedding itself will be held at the opulent Leela Palace. According to reports, Raghav will embark on a boat ride adorned in traditional Mewari style to the Lake Palace to fetch Parineeti. The couple has reserved all 80 suites available at this luxurious hotel, with the most extravagant Maharaja Suite being chosen for the wedding. Spanning 3500 square feet, this lavish suite comes at a rate of ₹10 lakh per day.
Before heading to Udaipur, an ardaas, or prayer ceremony, was conducted at Raghav Chadha’s residence, followed by a Sufi night. It is reported that notable figures like Harbhajan Singh attended this event.
The pre-wedding festivities include mehendi, a 90s-themed sangeet ceremony, the choora ceremony for Parineeti, and a sehrabandi event for Raghav. The menu will feature a delectable array of Punjabi and local Rajasthani cuisines.
