TVS Motor Company has introduced the Apache RTR 310, the naked variant of its popular motorcycle, in India. The ex-showroom price for the Apache RTR 310 starts at ₹2.43 lakh. The company had previously initiated pre-bookings for this highly anticipated bike, and a teaser video was posted on TV Motors’ YouTube channel a few weeks ago, providing a glimpse of the bike. The Apache RTR 310 is characterized by a bold streetfighter design while retaining the same chassis and mechanics. Key features include a split LED headlamp, a flat handlebar, and a sophisticated yet muscular design on the fuel tank.
The new Apache RTR 310 is available in three variants, each offering two color options: Arsenal Black without a quickshifter (priced at ₹2.43 lakh), Arsenal Black (priced at ₹2.58 lakh), and Fury Yellow (priced at ₹2.64 lakh) in India. Additionally, it comes equipped with climate-control seats, providing rapid cooling and heating in just three minutes.
This motorcycle is powered by a liquid-cooled 312cc single-cylinder engine, similar to the TVS Apache RR 310, BMW G 310 R, G 310 GS, and G 310 RR. It can generate 34 HP of power and 27.3 Nm of torque and is paired with a 6-speed gearbox. The new Apache 310 RTR will face competition from models like the BMW G 310 R, Triumph Speed 400, Harley Davidson X440, and Bajaj Dominar 400.
In addition to the Apache RTR 310, TVS recently launched an electric scooter called the X. This electric two-wheeler features Bluetooth connectivity, providing riders with a connected interface through a 10.2-inch panoramic dashboard. The ex-showroom price for the e-scooter is ₹2.49 lakh, according to the TVS website.
