Desh Duniya Samachar

India hit a new bunch of lows when the court sanctioned the removal of the Indian Penal Code offence for employing anyone under 14. So essentially, it’s legal to send impoverished children to the way of the mule. In a country that’s thriving on the sacred vibes of the Holy Cow and the text book that validates the latter’s sacred existence, it is of little surprise that citizens would rather throw their last coin in a wishing well full of a god man’s fables than use it to buy dinner for their children.

The stories, or in fact the true stories projected here discuss some of the most hellacious scandals by Indian Babajis, who have self-proclaimed themselves as the ‘freeman’, ‘descendent of god’ and many more catchy names on the go.

1. Swami Nithyananda

The so-called godman, belonging to the cult ‘Paramhansha‘ is a well-known preacher and Mahamandaleshwar of Maha Nirvani Akhada. He is also the founder of Nithyananda Dhyanapeetam, headquartered in Bengaluru. However, a close look at the whereabouts of this famous saint gave transparency to his ulterior motives, in the year 2010. One of his many disciples, Arathi Rao, accused him of rape.

A closer look at the daily schedule of the god loving individual resulted in the discovery of contraceptives, marijuana and other such possessions, which are not expected in the private stash of a “guru”.

The Swami also got entangled in a scandal with actress Ranjitha that led to a plummet in the number of his legion of followers, but clearly not enough for the rational man to not have to lose sleep over it.

The 293rd pontiff of the Adheenam Mutt was also accused of coercing some of his disciples into signing non-disclosure forms so that he could engage them to have tantric sex with him, with the 50 shades of law still in blindfolds.

2. Asaram Bapu

Well recognized as the ‘Sant Shree Asaramji’ and the founder of one of the oldest ashramas at Motera, he preaches the existence of One Supreme Conscious and claims Bhakti yoga, Gnana yoga and Karma yoga as influences. This spiritual leader was alleged of the rape of a 16-year-old school student in 2013.

Shortly after, he was charged, alongside his son Narayan Sai, of raping two sisters from Gujarat. He has also been charged with criminal intimidation, wrongful/unlawful imprisonment of citizens.

The case, as put forward to the Delhi police, highlighted the occurrence of the incident in the ashrama itself. An intervention regarding the above case however was answered by Swamiji as “galati ek taraf se nahin hoti hai”, which translates to “Mistakes are not committed by a single party”, indirectly accusing his sexual assault victim to share half his guilt.

Setting a new low for gutter-worms all around, the most conniving of all Indian Babajis commented on the Nirbhaya gang rape case by stating that victim is at fault as she would have been unharmed if she had chanted the “Saraswati Mantra” and fell to the feet of her aggressors and pleaded to them as brothers.

My apologies to the gutter-worm community for my earlier remark: Recent evidence brought up against him sees the slaughter of the 6th witness in his case.

3. The Guru – Rajneesh

Chandra Mohan Jain, also known as Acharya Rajneesh, ascended to the role as Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh during the 1970s and 1980s. Popularly known as Osho since 1989, he was a break from the mainstream conventional hoodoo swamis counting yet another one amongst the Scandals by Indian Babajis.

Coming to the point, this singular swami was actually known as the ‘sex guru’ and was quite a news maker, owing to his provocative lectures in his ashrams.

In his Pune Ashram (which is flourishing like never before), some groups were allowed intimated relationship between the participants. The year was 1985; Osho had built an empire for himself in a secluded section of Oregon. His avid devotees, a multitude of as many as 2.000, stayed with him at the ranch.

After his empire collapsed, Rajneesh and his Rajneeshee subordinates were accused of executing bio-terrorist attacks that killed as many as 700 innocents, and another plot of killing political leader James Comini was uncovered, alongside charges of immigration fraud. Rajneeshees were not known to be gracious about any favours they expected from the community around them.

4. Ichadhari Baba Bheemanand

This self-styled Swami apparently while teaching spirituality, ran a prostitute racket, which he was accused of back in 2010 as one of the scandals by Indian Babajis. He used to supply women, including air hostesses, students and house wives, to high end clients all across Delhi and earned approximately Rs 2.5 lakh per day.

The 39-year-old Swami Bheemanand, whose real name is Shreemurath Dwivedi, started working in Delhi as a security guard in 1988, until in 1997 when he was arrested for managing a prostitution ring.

When he got out of jail, he took up religion simply as a front to his sleazy dealings. Dwivedi hailed from the Chitrakut region of Uttar Pradesh and ran his racket from a Sai ashram in South Delhi.

Dwivedi went as far as to releasing a CD comprising of videos of his spiritual teachings and even penned for magazine columns, in order to protect his cover of an untouchable, infallible religious leader.

His full name was Ichchadhari Sant Swami Bhimanand Ji Maharaj Chitrakoot Wale.

5. Kripalu Maharaj

Jagadguru Kripalu Maharaja was the preceptor of Jagadguru Kripalu Parishat, a worldwide Hindu non-profit organization with 5 main ashrams; four in India and one in the USA. He died in November 2013 at the age of 91, not before being exposed by an American follower Karen Johnson.

In 2002, Kripalu was alleged to have raped and molested a 22-year-old Guyanese woman in a prayer-room at a house in which he was staying in San Fernando, when she visited him in May of that year. Indeed, the count of the rapes and sexual relations of this Swamiji was innumerable, counting all the ladies living in his ashrama.

Kripalu Maharaja had allegedly also built himself a marble ashram in Vrindavan out of all the financial donation accumulated him over the years.

Kripalu Maharaj’s disciples have been spread all over the world preaching their religious cock and bull to anyone gullible enough and have been running a string of pedophilia and sexual assaults on female devotees in their time.
