Wearing a helmet while riding a motorcycle is a commendable safety practice. It’s well-established that both the rider and the passenger on the bike should wear a helmet. In today’s market, there are various strong and stylish helmet designs available. Not only is wearing a helmet important, but keeping it clean is also essential. However, what if you pick up your helmet to clean it and discover an unexpected visitor like a snake inside it? You would be left astounded and considerably more cautious. Yes, a case like this has recently come to light in Thrissur, Kerala, and the video is going viral.

This person narrowly escaped a poisonous snake bite when he found a small cobra inside his helmet just before wearing it. Sojan, the man, had left his helmet near his scooter in the workplace parking area. In the evening, when he was about to head home, he noticed something had gotten inside his helmet. Sojan stated that he felt something like a snake inside, which terrified him. In this situation, he immediately informed the Forest Department. Afterward, a snake volunteer named Lijo arrived at the scene.

The individual who was trying to catch the snake lowered the helmet to examine it closely. He realized there was a small, venomous cobra inside it. The video footage shows that when an attempt was made to catch the snake, it was also in a survival mode. Lijo placed the helmet on the ground and carefully searched for the snake. The snake had hidden so well inside the helmet that it was not visible from the outside. However, when the inner lining of the helmet was lifted, the cobra was discovered inside. Lijo mentioned that the snake was approximately 2 months old. He also explained that being bitten by a small cobra is more dangerous than being bitten by a larger one.”
