The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has released the datesheet for the Class 10 (matric) and Class 12 (Intermediate) board exams 2024, covering arts, commerce, and science streams. Class 10 theory exams are scheduled to commence on February 15, 2024, with mother tongue papers, while Class 12 exams will begin on February 1, 2024. Examinations will be conducted in two shifts, one in the morning from 9:30 am to 12:45 pm and the other in the afternoon from 2 pm to 5:15 pm.

The datesheets are accessible on the official BSEB website – secondary.biharboardonline.com. The Class 10 and Class 12 exams will conclude on February 20 and February 12, respectively.

Bihar Board Class 12 Inter Exam Dates: The Class 12 exams will commence with Biology, Philosophy, and Economics papers on February 1, followed by Mathematics, political science, and foundation course on the next day. Students will be given a 15-minute cool-off time to read the question papers in each shift.

The BSEB Class 10 and Class 12 results are expected to be declared in March/April 2024. Last year, the overall pass percentage for the Bihar Board Inter exam across science, commerce, and arts streams improved to 83.70%. The overall pass percentage for Class 10 was recorded at 81.04%. The results reflected the efforts of 16,10,657 students, including 8,19,737 girls and 7,90,920 boys, with a total of 13,05,203 passing candidates, including 6,61,570 boys and 6,43,633 girls.

Additionally, the Bihar Board announced the school holiday calendar for the 2024 session, with a 30-day summer vacation from April 15, 2024, to May 15, 2024. The Board clarified that there would be no changes in the number of holidays, and schools have traditionally remained open during the summer vacation, celebrating the birth anniversaries of great individuals. The calendar does not separately mention the birth/death anniversaries that fall during the summer vacation.
