Jaipur (Rajasthan): Congress leader Sachin Pilot expressed optimism on Saturday, stating that his party is poised to secure another opportunity in the state. He emphasized that the people’s inclination is towards disrupting the trend of alternating governments this time. In an interview with ANI regarding the elections, the former Deputy Chief Minister of the state asserted, “I am confident that Congress will get another chance in the state (to return to power). We will garner the necessary numbers to form the government. The voters here want to support those who deliver and remain committed.”

He further emphasized, “The prevailing sentiment among the populace is towards changing the trend of alternating governments this time.”

Regarding any perceived discord with Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, Pilot played down the issue, stating, “We have worked together (for the party). It is not about two or three people. The Congress unit of Rajasthan is united,” reaffirming party solidarity.
