Rockstar Games unveiled the initial trailer for “Grand Theft Auto 6,” positioning it as the forthcoming flagship installment in the esteemed Grand Theft Auto series. As the sequel to the 2013 blockbuster GTA V, which stands as the second best-selling video game globally after Minecraft, GTA 6 is expected to be a major action-adventure game in the coming year.
Situated in Vice City, the game’s interpretation of Miami, the trailer prominently showcases the female lead, Lucia, engaging in a crime spree alongside her partner. While the plot details remain undisclosed, the trailer features the song “Long is a Long Road” by Tom Petty.
After a decade since the release of Grand Theft Auto 5, fans have eagerly awaited the GTA 6 sequel, which is slated to launch on Sony PlayStation 5 and Microsoft Xbox Series X and Series S consoles. Rockstar Games, celebrating its 25th anniversary, confirmed the development of Grand Theft Auto 6 earlier in 2022. However, there is no explicit mention of a PC release at the initial launch.
