In a beautiful display of religious harmony and unity in Kerala, a Hindu woman participated in a ‘Milad Un Nabi’ rally in the northern district on Thursday. During the rally, she lovingly placed a garland made of currency notes around a Muslim child’s neck and affectionately kissed his cheek. The woman later revealed that the child was her neighbor.

In an event that showcased religious tolerance and goodwill in Kerala, a Hindu woman from the state’s northern district participated in a ‘Milad Un Nabi’ rally and adorned a Muslim child with a garland made of currency notes. This heartwarming incident was captured in a video that circulated on social media. In the video, the woman can be seen patiently waiting along with children participating in the rally.

As the rally reached its destination, the woman crossed the road, took out a garland made of currency notes, and placed it around the neck of a child who was part of the procession. She also kissed the child’s cheek with affection. Later, the woman informed a television channel that she learned that the child was her neighbor.

According to the woman, she has grown up in an atmosphere of religious harmony, and her desire was to adorn someone with a currency garland during the ‘Milad Un Nabi’ rally in the town of Kodur. She explained, “I had the means, and I wanted to do it. There is no other reason for this act.” This heartening gesture of unity and acceptance stands as a testament to the coexistence of different faiths and traditions in the region.
