Following a recent encounter with security forces in Jammu and Kashmir’s Reasi district, the injured terrorist has been discovered deceased on Friday.
The terrorist sustained injuries during a gunfight with security personnel in the Khawas region of Reasi district on August 5, after which he had evaded capture.
Mukesh Singh, the Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) for the Jammu zone, stated, “The lifeless body of the second terrorist, who was wounded in the Khawas encounter, was located in the Dhakikot area of Reasi by the special operation group (SoG).”
According to Singh, the site where the terrorist’s body was retrieved also yielded three grenades, multiple magazines, and 32 rounds for a pistol, along with other items.
