It has garnered over Rs 518 crore in India and has now set its sights on the Rs 550-crore milestone domestically. In the global market, ‘Jawan’ has crossed the impressive Rs 900-crore mark and is on track to reach Rs 1,000 crore.
‘Jawan’ made a grand entrance into theaters on September 7, receiving enthusiastic acclaim from both fans and critics. This Shah Rukh Khan-starrer achieved the remarkable feat of recording the highest opening day earnings in the history of Hindi cinema, with a worldwide collection of Rs 129.06 crore.
As per industry reports, on its 14th day, September 20, ‘Jawan’ raked in Rs 10 crore net in India, bringing the total domestic collection to Rs 518.28 crore. The film is now steadily progressing towards the Rs 550-crore mark in India.
On the global front, ‘Jawan’ has already surpassed Rs 900 crore in earnings, with a total of Rs 907.54 crore in just 14 days. The film is now closing in on the coveted Rs 1,000-crore milestone in the worldwide box office arena.
Directed by acclaimed Tamil filmmaker Atlee, ‘Jawan’ made its worldwide debut on September 7, featuring versions in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. This high-energy action thriller also boasts an ensemble cast that includes Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, and a special appearance by Deepika Padukone. ‘Jawan,’ primarily a father-son narrative, addresses various social and political issues through its protagonist, portrayed by Shah Rukh Khan.
