India clinched its 8th Asia Cup title at the R Premdasa Stadium in Colombo yesterday with a commanding victory over Sri Lanka, winning by 10 wickets. Among the numerous record-breaking moments witnessed during the 2023 Asia Cup final, Mohammed Siraj’s exceptional bowling performance stood out, making him the first Indian bowler to secure four wickets in a single over in an ODI match.

As Siraj was honored with the ‘Player of the Match’ award, along with a cash prize of $5,000 (₹4,16,440), he displayed an unexpected act of kindness.
