The Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Bhajanlal Sharma, has tested positive for COVID-19. He himself shared this information on his official handle. Sharma stated, “Due to health issues, I underwent a COVID test today, and my report came back positive. I am currently in self-isolation and strictly following the advice of medical professionals. I will continue to participate in all upcoming events virtually.”

Recently, Bhajanlal Sharma was seen at a salon in Bikaner. A video surfaced showing him getting his hair done at a regular salon. Apparently, he visited the salon to meet beneficiaries of the PM Swamitva Yojana. In the video, he was seated in the salon while a staff member styled his hair.

In Jaipur, Sharma had addressed the issue of education. He mentioned that the state government is committed to providing better educational opportunities to every student. He chaired a review meeting of the School, Higher, Technical, and Sanskrit Education departments on Monday. During the meeting, the Chief Minister directed officials of the School Education Department to formulate a plan to provide necessary educational facilities and resources in private sector schools similar to government schools. This would ensure that students from needy families also receive high-quality education.
