Sanju Samson’s Power-packed Century

In the match against Railways, Kerala had a challenging start in their pursuit of the 256-run target. The team lost two wickets for just 19 runs. Captain Sanju Samson then took the responsibility and played a remarkable century inning.

Samson scored 128 runs off 139 balls, hitting 8 fours and 6 huge sixes during his innings. Notably, 68 runs came from Samson’s bat in boundaries alone. This inning by Samson is his highest in domestic cricket.

Captain’s Innings Falls Short of Victory

Despite Samson’s century, Kerala fell short in securing a victory against Railways. Samson didn’t receive substantial support from other batsmen, and as a result, the Kerala team could only manage to score 237, losing 8 wickets in 50 overs. Apart from Samson, Shreyas Gopal played a significant inning, contributing 53 runs. Railways’ bowler Rahul Sharma took 4 wickets in the match.
