Liz Harrington, a communications aide known for her unwavering support of the former president’s unfounded assertions about an election theft, contributed to the preparation of the report. Mr. Trump had announced its forthcoming release on Monday.

Following the indictment of former President Donald J. Trump in Georgia on allegations of orchestrating a plot to undermine the 2020 election, his associates and supporters found themselves met with a social media post from the leading Republican candidate. The post extended an invitation to a press conference scheduled for the upcoming Monday.

The message, posted just before 9 a.m. on Mr. Trump’s Truth Social platform, read: “An extensive, intricate, and meticulously detailed REPORT on the Presidential Election Fraud that transpired in Georgia is nearing completion and will be unveiled by me during a significant News Conference at 11:00 A.M. next week on Monday in Bedminster, New Jersey.” The statement further conveyed that this would be a “DEFINITIVE Report” that should result in “the dismissal of all charges against me & others.”

According to insiders familiar with the situation, the aforementioned report is a document spanning over 100 pages, its creation attributed, at least in part, to Liz Harrington. Harrington, a communications aide for Trump, is often recognized for her staunch belief in his false allegations that widespread fraud led to the theft of the 2020 election from him.
