The final phase of the rescue operation for 41 laborers in Uttarkashi is currently underway. Today, the workers can be extracted from the tunnel at any moment. Yesterday, drilling reached a depth of 40-45 meters, with only approximately 20 meters remaining to be drilled. With this progress, there is a high likelihood that the workers will be rescued from the tunnel today. After the drilling is completed, three NDRF personnel equipped with live support gear will enter the tunnel and systematically guide the workers out through the pipeline.
