On Tuesday, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal met with 780 senior citizens from the national capital who were embarking on a journey to Rameswaram as part of the Mukhyamantri Teerth Yatra Yojana, as reported by the news agency ANI.
Kejriwal expressed, “Today, 780 senior citizens of Delhi are leaving for Rameswaram. This is like a bonanza for them as they are getting this chance because of the honest government in Delhi.” He further emphasized that the government diligently allocates funds to organize pilgrimage tours for senior citizens, ensuring the best arrangements are made.
Meanwhile, Arvind Kejriwal, the AAP national convener and Delhi Chief Minister, conducted a significant meeting with party leaders on Monday, primarily focusing on the upcoming state elections in Haryana.
Sources revealed that the discussions encompassed strategies for expanding the party’s organization and intensifying the campaign for the forthcoming elections. The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is gearing up to launch the ‘Parivar Jodo’ campaign throughout the state in the near future, as reported by ANI.
Key attendees at the meeting, held at the residence of AAP convenor and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, included AAP National Organization General Secretary Sandeep Pathak, state President Sushil Gupta, campaign committee chairman Ashok Tanwar, senior Vice President Anurag Dhanda, and Vice President Chitra Sarwara. Additionally, all secretary-level officials from AAP Haryana were present. The Haryana assembly elections are slated to take place in 2024.
